The Juggernaut takes the plunge.

Wesley's showing 'em how it's done.

Bill, Jere, & Wesley

Whoa!  That's close!!

Hanging Out

Eglin - Controlled Burn

Ah, this is Robert (aka Freddy).
The rescue of the day.

Freddy's buddies just left him with us.

Uh, Freddy, do you have tow hooks??

Brian's ready with Bill's winch cable.

No really, please, don't try to start it now!

Freddy's still checking on those tow hooks.

Not sure what tow hooks look like,
Freddy's attaching the cable to his bumper.

Uh, Freddy, you do have to
put it in neutral and steer.

Ah, it's moving.

Good Job Bill on your first rescue!!

Here comes Freddy.

And, no, there are no tow hooks.

Almost there.

No, really, you need to wait to try to start it!
At least until there's no water above your tailpipe.

AWESOME!!

Dude, that's a LOT of water!

Freddy trying to start it.  And lets just say,
it doesn't sound good.

Yeah, it started, but,
man, you've got to find those plugs!

Our club members decided the intake probably wasn't getting air.  So they took the breather box and the air filter off for a few minutes.

Water coming out of the tailpipe.

Somebody show Freddy where those plugs are.

Plug's out!

Meet Freddy, er, Robert.

Freddy claimed he'd already been through
this mudhole once or twice.

It ran as far as the highway that we know about.
Good Luck Freddy!!

OH NO!  Wesley Jeep's dead.

Ed chilling in Brian's Jeep.

Ummm . . . Insert your own caption here.

Susan's waiting to hear the verdict.

Wesley's assessing the situation.

Well it made it into the parking lot this time.

Mud, Mud, Everywhere!

The Juggernaut

Let the diagnostics begin. . . .

Susan offering a little assistance.

Ummm . . . What is Ed doing??

Yeah, Ed's chilling out under the tree.

They really are discussing the situation.

Susan and Brian headed off to the parts store.

Now that Bill and Ed have discussed the
problem, we'll let them have a look at it.

You know it's serious if you have to get
UNDER THE JEEP.

Hmmm . . .

Susan: "Help me out Wesley!"
Wesley: "Just jump!"

Aww . . .

Getting dirty putting in the new part.

Let's see if it works now.

Here's hoping!!!

Ok, we made it only two blocks before it went
dead again.

Luckily, we were aiming for the parts store.

Winston's going to help us now.

Yeah, Brian and Ed took on a little mud too.

And now introducing Kevin.

More discussions . . .

Winston's going to test the first new alternator.

We're thinking Winston enjoyed spending time
with Mobile Jeep Club.

We've drawn a crowd.  Well, mostly of
ourselves, but it's always a crowd
anytime Jeep friends get together.

Ok, you have to hand it to Kevin.
He stuck around after he was
OFF THE TIME CLOCK to help us out.

Oh wait!!
Is she smiling through the pain???

The Jeep started rolling.
Ed took a preventative measure.

Now Brian is on the phone with another parts
store going through diagnostics.

Parts Store #2
Oh, wait, maybe #3.

Checking voltage again . . .

One of our advisors . . .

And he was right on with the answer.
It just wasn't something found on this day.

Another Jeep Owner . . .

Ok, decision made is to trailer Wesley's
and drive Brian's home.

Get down . . .

DOWN . . .OFF . . . NOW!!

Strap it down and take it home.

And the Greg Edwards #3 Award of the Day
goes to . . .
